NEW CAREER FOR CLARKE

Former PGA Champion Howard Clark is carving out a new career for himself as a commentator alongside Peter Alliss on the BBC, and for my money I think that he is making a good job of it.

Talking with him at the Benson & Hedges the other week he said that it was more difficult than it appeared, especially with the director talking in your ear whilst trying to talk yourself. What I like is that he doesn't say too much and he doesn't try to analyse every shot despite the fact that he obviously has a great understanding of the golf swing.

Keep up the good work Howard, and remember the maxim, if you can't improve the picture, say nothing.
