The Course
Opened in 1993, the Course's maturity far exceeds it's tender years and offers a challenging 6,212 yards, par 70, maintained to the very highest standards, with tees and greens built to USGA specifications. Sown with bent and fescur grasses, the course comprises two contrasting nines. The outward nine, set in parkland, boasts extensive lakes and water hazards, offering a challenging but thoroughly enjoyable start to the round. A straight drive on 'Bottleneck' (the 6th) will set up a good chance for par, while 'Miller's Pond' (the 8th), encourages more than a little thought about club selection.

It's hard to start the back nine without first visiting the Halfway House for a welcome drink, a bacon sandwich or a snack, all of which can be ordered through a telephone link by the 9th tee.
Then suitably refreshed, it's off to the stunning inward nine holes, laid out in 'links' style, with sand banks, broom and a wealth of challenges in store. A good test of golf where a par on the 13th feels like a birdie, and 'Deception' (the 15th) really does live up to it's name!
